How it works:

As soon as the registry is opened, our Principal Artisan Mark Fort will call the bride to consult with her about the many aspects of the of eventual fine art piece which will be completely personalized to her wishes for size, style, color, composition etc., to meet the bride’s personal taste and decorum. The total registry value cannot be established until these important details are established but typical registries value between $600 and $2000 and are typically completed by contributions from as few as four guests and up to as many as twenty other friends and family ( wedding guests ) . FYI: Our fine art portraiture rates are less than half the national average for comparable portraiture. All contributors will be acknowledged via certificate on the back of the painting. And as soon as the total value is reached, one of our master artisans may then commence painting the commissioned work. Often the pieces of fine art are ready for a surprise presentation at the wedding ceremony. Sometimes our artists are even asked to finish the piece on site at the reception, this can also be arranged upon request.

Special bonus offer : ( Value $200 )

Additionally, your Bride will be offered a 50% discount in your name ( value $200 ) towards her own special gift to the groom,….. A painting of a slightly more private and provocative nature for their eyes only 😉 You will likely be the one to help with inspirational photography for such a piece and we are told by Maids of Honor and Brides that this photo session is a profoundly fun, and memorable bonding experience. These more sensual and tastefully done nude, semi-nude, and boudoir paintings of the bride as the bride’s special gift to her groom are quickly becoming a traditional as a return gift in exchange for his proposal and ring presentation and the promise of a lifetime of fidelity to her. Not such an easy decision for many men….or women for that matter. 😉

These two pieces of hand painted fine art can be presented as stand alone gifts or mounted back-to-back as one piece with our special proprietary hanging hardware, to be flipped and displayed as an amorous communication tool between the happy couple. At the bride’s discretion, the balance of cost of this piece beyond your $200 contribution ( credit ) can be added together for one single registry item and in varying denominations from $75 to $250 for friends and family to contribute. All contributing guests are credited for the gift of fine art portraiture and beyond that, it’s at the bride’s discretion to share the details of the second piece, her bride’s special and private gift to the groom……….or not. 😉

Process:

Once you “Create a New Registry” by providing  your contact info and that of the bride and groom ( which we will never share with anyone as part of our privacy policy )  we will send  you and the bride a confirmation message acknowledging your opening of the registry with a $100 contribution and the $200 certificate towards the second piece.   Thereafter the bride will be required to complete the rest of the gift registry registration so that guests, friends, and family who choose to participate can find the registry and contribute.   Once her registration is complete, we will send an announcement to you both that can be forwarded on to other friends and family, informing them that the registry exists so that they may add their own certificates of contribution in denominations of their choice, to the total cost of the piece via credit card payment through our web site.

Note:

Because there is no actual cash required for the Maid of Honor’s initial $100 credit, there cannot ever be a refund of this credit, should the registry ever be closed by the bride for any reason prior to commencement of work or delivery of the final piece.    The $200 gift certificate for the second piece is only valid where there is a prior current portrait commission also.   Otherwise the singe $100 credit will be valid when there is only one painting commissioned.

Thank you for helping us to provide this very special and most profound gift from you the Maid of Honor to the bride and groom.     Rest assured that this will be the most special family heirloom and will be cherished in their family for generations to come.
